Birthday!!!

I know my blogging break didn't last but we have a birthday today!!! My second born is now seventeen! And what a wonderful young man he is!!
Daniel is a Godly young man with a missionary's heart. He is a witness to all those around. He has a tender heart and is a loyal friend. One thing I just love about him is his wonderful, quirky sense of humor that matches his birth date! (One of his dreams is to own a Hollywood style gorilla suit ;) Anyway, Daniel keeps me laughing and it's so fun!!!
While I know this isn't the best picture - Dan is doing so well with Scouts and I'm so proud of all his work (He was MCing the Court of Honor last week - it was difficult to get a good picture - a combination of wiggly baby and older camera :0)
I am so very proud of this handsome boy. God has given him such wonderful gifts and I know he's got a bright future ahead!!
Happy Birthday Daniel!! You are such a great guy and we love you so much. We are praying for God's blessings as you continue the journey set before you!!!
Love Mom and Dad

P.S. We are concentrating on fun with Dan in modified fashion today as there are several more sickies (now throwing up as well as the runny noses and fevers) and it's snowing!!! Where is Spring for Crying out Loud!!! The day I brought Daniel home 17 years ago my cherry tree and all my garden was in full bloom and we were wearing shorts - today there is not a single hint of bloom on anything!!! I don't believe we need to cool the earth any more!! A cooled earth is not fun!!! (Sorry, ranting is now over, gotta go get out some more Clorox wipes :0)

What a cutie. Instantly I knew I found my 4 year olds haircut. I have been struggling with this for so long and hate the typical little boy haircut. Your son's is perfect. Happy Birthday to him, he sure sounds like a wonderful individual. You must be very proud.
