What is this potty doing outside?!!! On the FRONT porch?
This is my husband's project for the week. He likes to have things to do - just staying home without a plan is difficult for him - so he has lots of plans for his remaining time off. This one involves fixing some water damage in our kid's bathroom (or the frog bathroom as they call it). The job ended up being a bit bigger than I thought it would be - a little hard for me as the need keep my home tidy is very strong at the moment - a belated nesting instinct I guess. Anyway, this fix required new vinyl flooring (there was wet wood underneath the old stuff), new drywall for the ceiling - so new paint as well. I decided that white walls weren't a good idea for a kids bathroom so I picked a green color to go along with the frog theme - I picked the color in about three minutes - that is huge for me I usually take weeks to pick new colors :0). So basically my Hubby remodeled the bathroom in just a few days. It's almost done - really just hanging up stuff and putting things back. Good job, honey!! So that is the explanation for the potty being on the front porch for that last few days.
What a mess!!! This looked quite daunting to me the first day!!

Hi there,
Glad to see your "potty" back where it belongs! We have had one of those sitting outside in our yard before also...but it stayed longer then 2 weeks! Glad hubby got it fixed now before more damage to the floor got done! We neglected our leak once and had a big job to take care of!
PS I actually have a child that would still try to use this on the porch! In fact she nearly used a display one years ago at one of the hardware stores! It was funny but then again not!
Hi Ross,
Wayne tried to get Jacob to use the potty as a joke on me and he wouldn't do it - joke on Wayne!!:0)
It would even be a bigger joke if he did and then tried to do what your daughter did!! We actually had to do some repair to the ceiling in the living room this week also as a result of the leak. It happened over the winter when we all had the flu so it didn't get noticed very quickly - thank goodness no mold grew - that was a big concern!! But the reapirs are done now - just touching up paint and putting things back now!! The drain in the bathroom upstairs had come apart underneath the tub where nobody could see it. With three boys showering up there the water issue a pretty big. Thank goodness the damage wasn't worse.
how wonderful...it's always nice when a project gets completed :o)
looks great :o)

Hi there,
that postpartum stuff is so hard! It is so hard on us moms...we love our new little one and then feel bad because we feel sad. I had it really bad when my oldest was born. I had no idea how it would feel to go through that. Hang in there and I will be praying for you. God gave you a support group of moms who really care! I am one of those who really care and so do the other moms who know you!
Thank you Simply and Ross!! I really do appreciate the understanding - and prayers!!
