Heat Wave!!

Non-stop pool play,
Clothes on the line (or swim-suits), Long naps on cool sheets, And iced mochas, are how us northern folk here in the Pacific Northwest handle the rare heat wave. We are expecting our third day in a row (and only our 5th day all summer) of temps around 90*. This girl is likin' all the sunshine - although the temps are a bit higher than we're used to!! We only have about 58 sunny days in a year so I'm all for soaking up the sun and warmth when I can!!! Back to clouds and sweatshirts later this week so I'm off to hang out more laundry and water my garden (which is loving this weather). Hope your Monday is a blessed one!!

Blessings,
Christine

I'm more than willing to share some of our heat, if you'd like. It's only HOT, HOT, HOT here and it's been like that for several months ;) BTW, that iced mocha looks yummy.

We are just the opposite. Two full weeks of awful humidity. You could shower from all the sweat each day :-9 yuck!!

Everyone looks great and those iced mochas are a favorite of ours too~

Christine, this weather has been nice, but I am ready for a cool down for a few days. Canning in 90's and 100 degree temps is NOT this girls idea of fun times. :) If I could sit and enjoy the sunshine, it would be fine, but I'm behind on my canning for the summer and need a bit of cooler weather. :) Trying not to complain though, we've had a VERY cool summer so far. We were due a few days, that's for sure. :) Enjoy your sunshine! My clothes line got a really big workout today. I'm loving that. :)

Hi Sweetie! I am so glad that you are getting some real summer weather to enjoy! Your pics are fun and sweet!

Do tell your recipe for your mocha drinks!!

It has been pretty hot down here, but a few nights last week there was a strange little bit of coolness in the evening air. Wonder if it means an early fall for us! That would work for me!

Have a glorious week, Christine!
Love and hugs,
Becky

Oh Christine,
I just love your pictures!

Just beautiful!

I love a good clothesline!
Toddlers napping and iced coffee and even though I do not knit I love love the light green yarn!
(and your blue table cloth!)

Kids in the BIG blue bubble pool is so fun to watch!

Well the sun is out today down where I live, so we hope to use our pool a few more time before it gets to cold. Its already Sept. 2!
