Papa and Grandma

This weekend we had visitors. Very, very special visitors. Esther got to meet her Grandma and Papa for the first time. We had a wonderful time. We did a little shopping, a lot of visiting, plenty of eating and some celebrating with yummy ice cream sundaes. Mostly this was get- acquainted time for Esther and grandparents. What a gift grandparents are. Mine, as of earlier this summer, are all now living in heaven. While I know that I will have forever to enjoy their company someday - right now I miss all of them. I am so thankful my children have time with their Grandma and Papa. It was hard to say goodbye this afternoon - but they will be back in a couple of months and we already can't wait.

Thank you Grandma and Papa for coming to see us - we had a SUPERB time :0). Can't wait till your next visit!! We love you!!

Grandparents have such a special place in the life of a family! They get to love and enjoy their precious grandchildren, with the edge of having to train up the child already completed with their own children...passed onto them... while the grandparents get to enjoy this new season of relationship!

Hi Ross' and Simply,
Grandparents are the best aren't they!! Yep, the potty was off the porch and safely installed where it really belongs. The rest of the bathroom was still a bit messed up - but I decided to relax and not be bothered that my house wasn't perfect for my Mom and it truly was one of the best visits I've had with them. I just decided that this is who I am - not perfect - and it felt good!! Hope your day is great Ross and Simply. Soon we'll be back at school visiting face to face!!
